I am delighted to announce the appointment of George McCaffery, one of our newer members, as our society Treasurer, following the retirement of Mike Shields. George has been acting in this capacity as he took over Mike’s role and he already has an excellent grasp of our financials and is already in control of the individual event finances. Ian and I will endeavour to make sure we introduce him to you at the remaining events of this year. i am sure you will all give him your total support.

With our President off golf after a skiing accident, it was left to our captain, MIke Nixon, to do this year's honours alone.
